My students Josh and Henry are on assignment to write a persuasive letter about something they believe in. Henry has chosen writing a letter to the school principal because he wants the middle school to start a 6th grade boys basketball team. Josh has chosen to write about the 2nd amendment-the right to keep and bare arms. Josh feels that President Obama should overturn the semi-automatic gun ban so every American has the right to own any gun of their choice.
